Who doesn't love to bite into a mixture of flavors creating a unique and incredible taste? There's always a change of a total failure but not in this case! And NEVER be afraid to try mixing different combinations. You never know, you might create something oh so good! This next food combination is out there and readily available, but people seem to be afraid to taste it.. It is super easy to make and will be loved by all your guests at your next dinner party!
Dates wrapped in pancetta

You will need:
Finely sliced pancetta
Zamli or Medjool dates
Freshly grinded pepper
Extras:
Goat or blue cheese
If your dates have stones in them, cut them carefully open from one side and remove the stone.
Lay out your pancetta slices and grind pepper on to them, rub it in a bit.
Wrap the pancetta around dates and lay on to an oven dish, loose end against the dish. Cook about 20 minutes in a 200 °C oven. Keep an eye on them, depending on the thickness of your pancetta slices they might cook quicker/slower. Serve while hot. If you want to make them even more amazing, put a small amount of goat cheese or blue cheese inside the dates. If you are lactose intolerant, but would still love to have some cheese inside the dates, please see a post about cheese and lactose intolerance for some hints!
Enjoy!
